MS Global 2008 : Stage 1
Colorado River Road
A short drive West from Vail, Colorado, the Colorado
River flows. Along the river for about 45 miles north
and East runs a quiet back road that undulates and
crosses the river several times making a beautiful
back drop for a ride.
The sun was out and the afternoon thunderstorms stayed
at bay just long enough for us to ride aout 25 miles out and
25 miles back along the river. The views of river in the sunshine
with the storms building in the afternoon to the North were
spectacular.
It was a perfect medium distance ride to start our shortend
MS Global 2008 ride.
